Robbie
Robbie was a heroin addict for 20 years and hardly had a year from his early twenties out of prison due to drug related offending, including bank robbery. He became a Christian in Liverpool whilst on the run from prison and knew in his heart from that point that he had to go back to prison and finish his sentence. Whilst in prison he read the Bible and came off all his drugs.
On release he came to Renewal North West joining our residential programme and then having finished that he volunteered for the charity for several years before becoming a valued member of staff. Today he manages our furniture showroom, is married with children and is totally transformed from the old Robbie. He ascribes this change to the difference that Jesus Christ has made in his life. He is a committed Christian.
